Program Chair, Joy Larsen, has arranged a special presentation for our January 2016 meeting featuring Pat Keay, Director of Community Engagement for Heifer International—an organization that has provided livestock and environmentally sound agricultural training to those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income. Pat will be sharing stories of Heifer International’s work in 30 countries (including the United States) during the past 70 years.

Remember to bring some extra $$ for the raffle, and sign up to help organize and support the Club’s major fundraiser for local scholarships: The GBAWC Golf Classic on Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at the Grand Lucayan Reef Golf Course.
Special Reminder About Annual Dues: For those of you who have been away or haven’t had your checkbook with you at the last meetings in 2015, please bring your dues to the January meeting or contact Membership Chair, Sylvia Clift, to get your dues caught up! Our small annual dues fee helps make a big difference in the Grand Bahama community—and if you really want to get ahead on things for 2016, you can also pay your dues for the upcoming year too if you like!
