Mark your calendar too for the 13th Annual Grand Bahama American Women’s Club Golf Classic on Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at the Reef Golf Course with dinner immediately following the tournament at Ocean Blue Restaurant at Ocean Reef.  This is the club’s major fundraiser for the year and allows us to make substantial local scholarships each year, so invite your friends to play, sell raffle ticket, volunteer to help bake desserts or work the day of the tournament by contacting 2nd VP/Norma Liedel: 602-1464.

AND … save the date of March 9th, 2016 for the special Grand Bahama American Women’s Club 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at Taino by the Sea Restaurant.


January 2016 Meeting:



Program Chair, Joy Larsen, has arranged a special presentation for our January 2016 meeting featuring Pat Keay, Director of Community Engagement for Heifer International—an organization that has provided livestock and environmentally sound agricultural training to those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income.  Pat will be sharing stories of Heifer International’s work in 30 countries (including the United States) during the past 70 years.
